If you have a high school diploma and have never attended college, or have less than 12 college credits.

If you have earned 12 or more transferable credits and/or completed an associate degree or higher.

If you have already earned a regionally-accredited bachelor's degree or higher.

You are considered a returning student if you previously enrolled at FIU and have been away for more than three terms.

Are you in high school? High school students have an opportunity to earn college credits before they graduate.

If you are currently active U.S. military or are a veteran.

If you are not a citizen of the U.S. or a permanent resident.
