FIU Online programs rank within top 50 in the nation

U.S. News and World Report releases 2021 list of best schools for online learning.

FIU Online, once again, achieves top placement for many of its undergraduate and graduate online degree programs in U.S. News and World Report’s newly released rankings for online learning. The rankings are a testament to FIU’s enduring commitment to quality and underscore its dedication to excellence in online learning.

“It’s an exciting honor to be recognized for many of our programs within the top 50 universities among all public institutions nationwide,” states FIU Online Interim Vice President Lia Prevolis.

FlU′s online programs are among more than 1,200 programs surveyed by U.S. News and World Report. The publication only evaluated regionally accredited institutions whose programs are offered mostly or entirely online.

“These rankings demonstrate our drive to create increased opportunities for students as we help reduce the barriers to education, so we can help further the university’s positive impact,” Prevolis says.

Of note, FIU is listed No. 37 in the nation for Best Online Bachelor’s Programs for Veterans, among all schools nationwide.

FIU’s online bachelor’s and master’s degree programs for business continue to rank high, with several gains in placement and new rankings.

FIU’s Top 50 rankings among public universities:

  • Online bachelor’s programs ranked as No. 42
  • Online master’s business program (non-MBA) ranked No. 10
  • Online master’s criminal justice program ranked No. 14
  • Online master’s engineering program ranked No. 39
  • Online MBA program ranked No. 41
  • Online MBA business analytics ranked No. 14
  • Online MBA finance ranked No. 10
  • Online MBA general management ranked No. 13
  • Online MBA marketing ranked No. 8
