Scholarships help you graduate from FIU with your degree and with decreased debt. To help support fully online students, FIU Online awards a select number of scholarships.
FIU offers online students a number of different scholarship opportunities, including the Bright Futures Scholarship, for eligible Florida high school graduates, the First Generation Scholarship, and institutional programs for academic merit assistance and graduate assistance.
Scholarships have specific criteria and varying deadlines and application requirements. We also encourage all students applying for scholarships to submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, so they can be considered for financial aid.
