FIU Online Programs Top-Ranked in the Nation

As Miami’s first and only public research university, FIU added new top-tier rankings and gains from U.S. News and World Report for many of its online programs. The newly released 2018 rankings are a testament to the university’s enduring commitment to providing accredited programs and quality online learning.

Among the greatest U.S. News and World Report achievements, FIU Online’s master’s degree Education programs gained an astounding 20 places on the 2018 Best Online Education Programs list. FIU is now ranked at #46 in the nation for Best Online Education Programs, which positions the university’s online graduate Education programs just under the 16th percentile.

Likewise, FIU Online’s graduate online programs for Criminal Justice/Criminology gained 11 places higher as well at #19 on U.S. News and World Report’s 2018 Best Online Criminal Justice/Criminology Programs list.

FIU’s online graduate Business Programs (non-MBA) continue to rank high. This year, the programs are ranked #21 in the nation, which puts FIU’s non-MBA online Business programs well within the top 15 percent on U.S. News and World Report’s 2018 Best Online Business Programs list.

In addition to top graduate rankings, overall, FIU Online is listed within the top 20 percent of schools nationwide at #60 for 2018 Best Online Bachelor’s Degree Programs.

FIU Online has much to celebrate this year as it rings in 20 years of offering online degrees. What started in 1998, with just a few classes has grown to more than 40 online degrees with hundreds of classes and thousands of students.

• U.S. News and World Report ranks FIU Online in the top 20 percent of schools nationwide at #54 for 2018 Best Online MBA Programs.

• U.S. News and World Report ranks FIU Online within the top 15 percent of schools nationwide at #21 for 2018 Best Online Graduate Business Programs (non-MBA). The report also lists FIU’s Online Graduate Business Programs #2 in Florida of schools ranked.

• FIU Online gains 11 places higher in this year’s U.S. News and World Report for 2018 Best Online Graduate Criminal Justice/Criminology Programs. Up from #30, FIU is now #19 in the nation. The report also lists FIU’s Graduate Criminal Justice/Criminology Programs #2 in Florida of schools ranked.

• FIU Online gains 20 places higher in this year’s U.S. News and World Report for 2018 Best Online Graduate Education Programs. Up from #66, FIU is now #46 in the nation and is positioned within the top 16 percent. The report also lists FIU’s Online Graduate Education Programs #3 in Florida of schools ranked.
